On the banks of the Touvre river, the Saint-Cybard church, dated 12th century, has the particularity of being built in the form of a Greek cross (well, almost!).

Inside, the transept topped with a dome with pendentives opens onto 2 rectangular chapels. A window lets light in a "flat" apse. The square steeple has 2 levels: one with blind arcades ; one having on the sides high gemelled windows which would have been restored in the Middle Ages.
